Account Executive

Account Executives at Burdette Ketchum act as a link between clients and the agency and help both grow. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customer account management
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

Front End Digital Designer & Developer

As the Front End Digital Designer & Developer you will design and implement assets and perform design implementation and development. You will stay on top of modern design trends, UI/UX standards and development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create interactive designs to include the creation of sitemaps, wireframes, emails, banner ads and design concepts.
  • Web Development work to include design implementation and both frontend and backend development practices.
  • Work with the Digital Client Services Director and the Content Director from start to finish on all interactive projects.
  • Collaborate with Creative Team to ensure designs fit within client’s brand standards.
  • Prepare business requirements, sitemaps and wireframes to outline the user experience.
  • Prepare final web designs and collect graphic assets to be utilized during development.
  • Develop small websites, landing pages, emails, and banner ads.
  • Stays current with best practices for the design and implementation of digital applications; usability, browser limitations and strengths, mobile for phone and tablet devices, desktop, online advertising using re-marketing and display banners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, or other related fields with a strong interactive portfolio.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in an agency/design firm environment and, or corporate in-house creative department having produced advanced work (i.e. developing integrated campaigns for email, landing pages and banners, A/B testing).
  • User interface design and user experience design expertise.
  • Expert with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS, as well as strong understanding of PHP/MySQL.
  • Experience with MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact and Pardot.
  • Strong familiarity with CMS platforms including WordPress and Expression Engine.
  • Strong eye for detail and organizational skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

Videographer/Editor Digital Storyteller

The Videographer/Editor Digital Storyteller will handle video production and postproduction needs. The role is responsible for proficiency in crafting a narrative arc through shooting, editing and basic animation/motion graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Create video and multimedia solutions that enhance and support the Agency mission and strategy, to include full service video productions, 2-D animation and audio production.
  • Work alongside a professional team in a fully equipped production environment.
  • Travel to client locations across the US and International (as needed).
  • Work within a dynamic, collaborative and fast paced agile environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in meetings with customers, team members, contractors, and others to exchange information, make decisions and/or provide updates.

Requirements

  • B.A. in TV/Film, Communications, Multimedia, or preferred years of relevant experience producing video based solutions.
  • 5+ years related experience in video production house or agency that includes at least two years supporting full-service video production that includes scriptwriting, location setup and takedown, operating video and audio equipment, and editing captured video.
  • 5+ years related experience in digital photography and professional lighting setup for headshots, group shots and product shots, etc.
  • Provide video reel and portfolio of photography work.
  • Strong organizational skills and comprehension of the required steps to effectively produce, capture, edit and post video solutions.
  • Experience creating 2D animation and audio production.
  • Strong proficiency in video production software applications to include: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.

Marketing and Account Management Internship

Burdette Ketchum is an integrated marketing agency that helps our clients discover and amplify the compelling truth in their brands and then share those truths through powerful, varied experiences across all media and throughout the customer journey.  Ultimately, we create PathwayBrands that build trust, show the way and inspire confident decisions.

We are seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic intern ready to dive deep into the agency environment. The internship program is an opportunity to work on real projects and gain valuable professional experience in the marketing and communications industries.

Our internship program is intended to be educational, exciting, and purposeful.  Interns will be immersed in client projects, assisting client leads with daily tasks. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Interacting with client contacts and attending meetings
  • Conducting industry and client research
  • Writing copy for the Burdette Ketchum and client websites
  • Designing presentations
  • Creating social media content
  • Summarizing work through client reports

Candidates should be current undergraduates or recent graduates with majors in marketing, communication, journalism, public relations, management, or related field. Internships run for three months averaging 20-25 hours a week. We work around course schedules but require interns be available at least three days per week.
